Polyurethane Foam Slabjacking
Denver concrete leveling service
Typically, when people are thinking about concrete repair through techniques such as concrete raising and leveling, they think of the old process called mudjacking. Typical mudjacking is a dated technique used to raise and level sunken and uneven concrete slabs. With mudjacking, large holes are drilled in a concrete surface and a cement based slurry is pumped beneath. This slurry becomes heavy and can add extra weight below your concrete slab, actually doing more harm than good in the long run. PURlevel uses a modern alternative to mudjacking for our expert concrete leveling in Denver: polyurethane foam injection.
Polyurethane foam concrete lifting has many advantages over the standard mudjacking method. Polyurethane foam raising, or foam jacking, is quick and easy, non-messy, and guaranteed to last solution to concrete repair.
Raising settled concrete with polyurethane foam is less invasive than mudjacking
With both mudjacking and polyurethane foam jacking, it is necessary to drill holes to inject the raising material. Foamjacking only requires our concrete repair contractors to drill small 3/8″ holes, in comparison the the 1″ or larger diameter holes needed in the mudjacking process. With polyurethane foam slab jacking, the drilling of necessary holes can be done much quicker and with far less noise than with mudjacking.
Quick and easy repair for settled concrete
Poly foam concrete leveling allows users to be on the concrete while the process is taking place. Unlike standard mudjacking that may take up to 24 hours before use can resume, vehicles can even be driven on the concrete slab right after the polyurethane foam injection has been completed.

A cleaner, lighter weight concrete lifting method
With the standard mudjacking technique, all material needed to mix the slurry used in the process is mixed onsite, which can cause quite a mess. With polyurethane foam concrete lifting, the material is completely contained, greatly reducing the risk of spill and contamination.
Unlike the cement based slurry used in mudjacking, polyurethane foam slabjacking is a much lighter weight alternative. This reduces the stress on the soil underneath the concrete slab, which reduces the possibility of the slab resettling.
Environmentally friendly concrete lifting option
Our poly foam is made of 30-50% recycled material. Polyurethane foam is more water resistant than the slurry used in mudjacking, and releases less toxic chemicals into the environment.
